The NEXO L18 is a compact horn-loaded subwoofer built around a single high-excursion 18-inch neodymium driver, designed to deliver powerful low-frequency reinforcement for both touring and fixed installation applications. This version is configured for installation use, fitted with lever wire connectors for integration into permanent sound systems.

The horn-loaded design maximises radiating surface and efficiency, producing a frequency response from 32 Hz to 120 Hz (-6 dB) and a maximum SPL of 140 dB peak, making it well suited to pair with the NEXO P15 main speaker in a wide range of venues.

Housed in a lightweight enclosure of custom-made bent plywood using Baltic birch and poplar, the L18 weighs just 50 kg and features a rounded cabinet shape to prevent corner damage and optimise air flow. It operates at a nominal impedance of 4 Ohms with an input voltage of 80 Vrms (180 Vpeak), across an operating temperature range of 0°C to 40°C.
