NEXO ID84 4-inch 2-Way Passive Column Loudspeaker, Black

The NEXO ID84 is a 2-way passive column loudspeaker featuring 8x 4-inch Neodymium LF drivers and 8x 1-inch HF drivers, designed for flexible deployment in touring, installation and fixed-install applications. This TIS version uses a UV- and fire-resistant acoustic fabric front with an IP2x rating, suited to demanding installation environments.

With a frequency response of 90 Hz–20 kHz (+6 dB), a sensitivity of 105 dB and a maximum SPL of 135 dB, the ID84 delivers high output with a nominal impedance of 4 ohm and a recommended power handling of 1,080 W. Horizontal dispersion is fixed at 100°, while vertical coverage can be switched between +0°/-10° (Narrow mode) and +0°/-25° (Wide mode) using a ruggedised, recessed, waterproof selector switch.

Connection is made via 2x NL4 connectors (2+/2-) plus an integrated connector in the base, allowing the ID84 to be stacked, flown or coupled upside down for extended throw and coverage. An optional low-frequency directivity extension module (ID84L) is available for cardioid pattern operation, and the enclosure can be electronically steered via a rear-panel switch with dedicated processing setup.
