NEXO ID84 4-inch 2-Way Column Loudspeaker, Touring Version

The NEXO ID84 is a 2-way passive touring column loudspeaker designed for live sound and touring applications where high output and flexible coverage are required. It combines 8x 4-inch LF neodymium drivers with 8x 1-inch HF drivers on a patent-pending arrangement to deliver consistent, high-SPL performance across the frequency range.

The ID84 offers a frequency response of 90 Hz to 20 kHz (+6 dB), a sensitivity of 105 dB and a maximum SPL of 135 dB, with a nominal impedance of 4 ohm and a recommended amplifier power of 1,080 W. A rear-panel switch allows selection between Narrow (100° horizontal, +0°/-10° vertical) and Wide (+0°/-25° vertical) dispersion modes to suit different venue shapes.

Connection is made via 2x NL4 connectors (2+/2-) plus an integrated connector in the base, with a ruggedized recessed waterproof 2-position switch for mode selection. The enclosure is built from an aluminium body with Magnelis® covers and grille, and the ID84 can be stacked or flown, used upright or coupled upside down for extended throw, and paired with the companion IDS312 subwoofer or the ID84L low-frequency directivity extension module for cardioid-pattern directivity.

This touring version (01ID.84-TCP) is covered by a 5-year warranty and rated for operation between 0°C and 40°C.
