NEXO ePS8 8-inch Horn-Loaded 2-Way Loudspeaker, Installation Version, Black

The NEXO ePS8 is a two-way passive installation loudspeaker combining an 8-inch neodymium long-excursion LF driver with a 1.4-inch HF compression driver on NEXO's Asymmetrical Dispersion (PS) horn. Designed for fixed installation applications, it is finished in black and can be paired with the eLS400 or eLS600 subwoofers for extended low-frequency performance.

Performance highlights include a frequency response of 80 Hz–20 kHz (+6 dB), sensitivity of 100 dB, and a maximum SPL of 128 dB peak at 8 ohm nominal impedance, with a recommended amplifier power of 570 W. The rotatable PS horn offers asymmetrical dispersion of +25°/-30° vertical and 50° to 100° horizontal, allowing flexible coverage patterns for varied installation environments.

Connections are made via two pairs of 7.62 mm pitch screw terminal blocks (In/Out). The enclosure is built from 15 mm thick birch plywood with a galvanized grille, rated IP55 for protection against dust and moisture, and weighs just 8.1 kg. Operating temperature range is 0°C to 40°C, and the ePS8 ships with an IP cover for its connectors, backed by a 5-year warranty.
