NEXO RS18 Dual 18-inch Subwoofer, Installation Version

The NEXO RS18 is an 18-inch installation subwoofer built around NEXO's patent-pending RAY SUB technology, delivering high output in a low-profile, modular enclosure suited to permanent sound reinforcement installations.

Two 18-inch long-excursion neodymium drivers combine with a configurable omni or directional dispersion pattern, switchable via the NX242ES4 or NXAMP TDcontroller, to reduce rear and side-wall reflections when cardioid operation is selected. Sensitivity is rated at 107 dB with a maximum SPL of 146 dB peak, and frequency response extends from 31 Hz to 100 Hz.

Connection is via four NL4MP Speakon 4-pole connectors arranged on two plates for in-and-through wiring, with recommended amplifier power of up to 8,000 W into the 2 x 8Ω load. The cabinet is finished in Baltic Birch ply with a structured black coating; a dark grey carpet finish is also available. NEXO backs the RS18 with a 2-year warranty.
