NEXO ID84 4-inch 2-Way Column Loudspeaker, Installation Version

The NEXO ID84 Installation Version is a 2-way passive column loudspeaker built for permanent installation in venues that require consistent, high-SPL sound reinforcement with a compact visual footprint. Its slim aluminium cabinet houses eight 4-inch neodymium LF drivers and eight 1-inch HF drivers in a patent-pending arrangement, delivering wide bandwidth output from a narrow enclosure.

The ID84 reproduces a frequency response of 90 Hz to 20 kHz (+6 dB) with a sensitivity of 105 dB and a maximum SPL of 135 dB. A ruggedised, recessed, waterproof 2-position switch lets installers select Narrow (+0°/-10°) or Wide (+0°/-25°) vertical dispersion, with 100° horizontal coverage, to match the acoustics of the space. The cabinet can be stacked, flown, or coupled upside down to extend throw and coverage, and can be paired with the ID84L low-frequency directivity extension module for cardioid pattern control.

Connectivity is via two NL4 connectors (2+/2-) plus one integrated connector in the base, with a 4 Ω nominal impedance and a recommended amplifier power of 1,080 W. The aluminium body with Magnelis® covers and grille is rated for operation between 0°C and 40°C, and the loudspeaker is backed by a 5-year manufacturer warranty.
