The NEXO ePS8-EN54 is a passive 2-way installation loudspeaker built around an 8-inch neodymium long-excursion LF driver and a 1.4-inch diaphragm HF driver mounted on NEXO's rotatable Asymmetrical Dispersion (PS) horn. It is designed for fixed installation applications requiring EN54-24 life-safety certification, and can be paired with the eLS400 or eLS600 subwoofers for extended low-frequency performance.

The enclosure delivers a frequency response of 80 Hz–20 kHz (+6 dB), 100 dB sensitivity and a maximum SPL of 128 dB at 8 ohm nominal impedance, with a recommended amplifier power of 570 W. Asymmetrical horn coverage of +25°/-30° vertical and 50° to 100° horizontal allows flexible aiming across varied room geometries.

Connection is made via 2 pairs of 5 mm pitch Push-in Cage Clamp In/Out terminal blocks. The cabinet is constructed from 15 mm birch plywood with a polyurethane coating and galvanized grille, weighs 8.1 kg and operates across a -40°C to 70°C range, with an IP cover for connectors included for all-weather protection.
